Taizé - instrumental (3 CD)

These accompaniments were recorded in order to support people who would like to meet to sing and pray together using the songs of Taizé, but who have no guitarist or keyboard player, and are not confident to sing a cappella. However, the CDs can also be listened to as reflective music in their own right. Together, they provide instrumental support for fifty-eight songs, including most of the simpler songs of the Taizé repertoire. These are the songs that can be sung easily by a small group; the more complex songs requiring solo singers have not been included.

À l’origine de ces enregistrements il y a le désir de soutenir celles et ceux qui se retrouvent pour prier avec les chants de Taizé sans être sûrs de pouvoir chanter a cappella, et qui n’ont pas la possibilité d’un accompagnement par des instrumentistes. Mais ces disques peuvent aussi être écoutés simplement comme musique méditative. Ensemble, ils offrent un soutien pour 58 chants, c’est-à-dire la plupart des chants les plus simples du répertoire de Taizé. Ils ne recouvrent pas les chants plus complexes qui ont besoin de solistes vocaux.

Die vorliegenden CDs wurden zur Begleitung von gemeinsamen Gebeten mit Gesängen aus Taizé eingespielt, bei denen ein reiner a-cappella-Gesang nicht möglich ist und keine Instrumentalisten zur Verfügung stehen. Selbstverständlich kann man sie aber auch einfach als meditative Musik hören. Die Instrumentalbegleitung bezieht sich auf 58 leichtere Gesänge des Repertoires von Taizé, die ohne weiteres auch in einer kleinen Gruppe gesungen werden können. Gesänge, die Solisten erfordern, wurden nicht berücksichtigt.
